Hello!

I have bought an old Western Electric which I woule like to repair and use.
Im new here in the forum and have limited knowledge about old telephones and I don't
know what phone model I have. It somewhere said 223G but Im not sure and I dont know if it has some missing parts. Here are some pictures I took of it.

Best Regards

First welcome to the forum. You have founnd the best place on the net for old phone stuff.
Your payphone may have been a 233G at one time, it has been converted for home use. I am not a payphone expert but I have worked on a couple. One of our experts can tell you if it is possible to restore it or you can use it as is.

It looks like the coin relay was removed, and a ringer and network added so it can be used as a home phone.  That is a very common conversion.  What is weird is that new numbers were put on the dial bezel going from zero to 9.  I wonder if somebody was using it with a non-standard pulse-to-tone converter?

Good eye. I did not catch that. Very strange :o
