Looking for signs, I came upon this photo of the very first McDonald's Hamburger stand ever, 1948, San Bernardino California, which other than being a historically interesting image has nothing to do with this forum. Golden arches came later but the burgers were still 15 cents each for at least a decade. They were 6 for $1 in the mid 60s.
