I know that there were members with smashed AE34 shells.  Here is one in much better condition for cheap.

Funny,  I just bought a NOS black clothe AE handset cord and a few dial cards from him.  Fast shipper/delivery too!

The only AE34 shell I see there has a crack in it already. That way you don't have to rely on the PO to crack it in shipment!

It has a small crack in the rear, but that is much better than a smashed shell.  Someone has already bought this one.  The same seller has another one listed, but it has obvious cracks in the front.  I expect it to last on ebay much longer.
