Problem with Dialgizmo and a magicJack

I'm not sure where this belongs on the forum.

I have a magicJack for line one in my 551b that works well. I have a few 565s that I wanted to dial out with, so I bought a Dialgizmo. Unfortunately I'm having a few problems. Some of the time, there is a faint squealing that gets progressively higher pitched. The Dialgizmo won't work when it squeals. It works perfectly when the squeal isn't there. The squeal isn't there at all when the dialgizmo is unplugged.

Also, my 2 565s with 7 series dials will not break dial tone. They both will with my Xlink.

Is there something I'm missing, or do I have a defective unit?
