Anyone in Minneapolis have one? Ha, this is a huge long shot, but I thought I'd ask.

If I could I'd get a wood shell and pop a new TV in it.

We found a late 70's RCA Colortrak on C-list for $20. It looks similar enough to a 60's era console with the spindle legs (I LOVE those).

We're having a work party for the opening of the new Twins stadium. 60's baseball on the "60's" TV.

This search got me interested in old TVs now. WHY OH WHY!

Check out this 1959 Setchell Carlson portable B+W! Made right here in the Twin Cities. I want it but it needs repair and I'm afraid of getting killed by high voltage.

I saw that exact portable at a yard sale last year for $5. The guy said it "needs a new power cord." I was affraid of the electrical issue too. I was also affraid of getting addicted to TV's also

I like that RCA, that's a slick looking TV with the spindle legs, like you said.  I have 3 consoles, none of them are on legs like that, one has casters on it, which I really like however.
