Dial for ta-43/pt or earlier? What did they use?

The Signal corps had CB options at least from EE-8, I have both that one and a ta-43/pt. How did they use this on automatic systems?

Was it ever made a separate dial for these?  The later  TA-312/pt had a dialpad (dtmf?)

I am not aware of any dials for ee8 sets and only a tone dial for the ta312 sets You could use these sets on common battery by turning a switch.

Can not remember where I spotted something like what I am working on just now, this one are definitely made of non North American parts!

You are really good! The dial (1940 something?) was delivered to Telegraverket (our MA BELL) from STK (Norwegian STC) and my guess is made in Antwerp.
