Kellogg Red Bar

My Red Bar arrived yesterday, it weighs a ton, were all Red bars made of Metal ?

One more thing, I've cleaned the dial, and it works smoothly, but it is slower on the return than other makes of dials, is this normal for the Red bar, or do I have a return spring issue ?

Later ones were made of plastic.  And if I'm not mistaken a Kellogg should have an AE dial in it.  My AE dials take precisely the same amount of time for a full return from "0" as my WE dials do.
