Saw this listing this evening... $50 for a vented 302.  A Christmas present for someone.

A nice price for a nice phone....  However, the dial plate is a '50s version without the"Z", so the dial may be a later replacement. Cords are rubber, so replaced as well.  Here's a pic of the auction and the very clean riveted-foot base.

It was on eBay for about 30 minutes before I saw it. Looking forward to getting it. It was hard to see those vents in the back, but the bottom sure looked right.

Yes, the vents are very hard to confirm from the photo, however the cradle ears are short, so you are highly likely to have the original shell, and if memory serves, any 302 with the earlier riveted feet (10-37 or prior) will be vented also.  Be sure to give us the rundown when it arrives- hopefully it retains most of its '37 parts!
