I got this phone from 1929, 2. year of production.

All other phones I have seen from Germany had a resistor and the capacitor across the pulse contacts. This one has none.

Sorry, DSK, pop filter is what takes the click, or loud POP sound out of the receiver when dialing, and going on/off hook.
Now that I typed it out, I don't think it is a pop filter.
What do you say the resistor/cap are there for?
I should have asked it that way to begin with...

The resistor and capacitor was put across the the dials pulse contacts to reduce the risk of sparks.
Probably not a great problem, it still works OK after 92 years  ;D
