I have a WE 2564 with a 35a3a dial. One tone bank is quite a bit off. I can push the generator in and the tone gets close. Adjustment doesn't do anything to change the tone. The generator is a bit loose. Is it repairable? Will a 35af3a  work in its place?

The coil can supposedly be reglued. A 35AF3A can substitute: Just tape and sort the extra leads (violet, orange and green-white?). How are you adjusting it?

I took an aluminum rivet and filed it into a triangle to fit. I haven't moved it too far one way or the other for fear of hurting something. I've tuned some in the past, but not some that were this far out. It is probably 2 full steps off (musically speaking). How far does it have to turn to adjust?

To be honest, I don't know. But I've heard you should use a non-metallic triangular-shaped tool. You can also send the dials to Steve Hilsz.
