I just repaired my #53 headset with a none modular cloth cord... (OPW) and it works fine... then, I got out one of my 6017-B's and wired up the headset to a W.E. 464.... Interesting setup.... does anyone know if this was ever done in a hardwired version? because that's what I have... and it works!
