More updates, I dived into this project.

I cosmetically restored the casing, (will show better pic later,) the finger wheel, and dial back plate. And of course, I oiled and adjusted the dial.

I still need to,
-Finish working on cords
-Clean up handset
-test the set. (Though, when I first disassembled it, I saw the ringer incorrectly wired, so I fixed that.)

Nice red phone Ben :D.. when I receive mine, The ringer was incorrectly wired... quiet , silence no ring....this phone was probably wired for non-working by the technician in 1964....I just replaced the wires at their place and it rings loud....

Right on, Ben! We all hoped it'd be soft plastic.

Well, I finished it, and I am glad to report, it turned out well. The stickers were a bear to get off, where usually they are not hard!

Like I said, it is a completely date matching phone (besides the upgraded 1957 cords.) Like you guys said, the curly line cord was an uncommon option so I am glad I could save it. I also added an authentic jack on the end, with a modular line cord, so it can be used with a mod. jack.

I will also be making a video presentation which can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIAHyrPvy2o&feature=youtu.be

I hope you enjoy:
