Now you are giving me that feeling again  >:(

I want, I want, ...but I really don't need it.

Have struggled a little bit when playing with asterisks free PBX, and understand it could be put away with power and network, and everything could be remote controlled.

Just impressed!

Keep on the good work.  :)
It may even be a marked here (collectors + +) for pre-configured boxes like that.

How does it work?

H really want to try, but my Linux skills =0  8)

Is it possible to run with AsteriskNow or similar easy administration.

Just a note: The new version Raspberry Pi model A was introduced in the USA this past weekend, and sold out in a matter of hours:

"The A version of the computer, which only costs $25, has 256MB of RAM, a single USB 2.0 socket, an HDMI, SD card, and 3.5 audio sockets, but no Ethernet port."

http://www.cnn.com/2013/04/02/tech/innovation/raspberry-pi-sale/index.html?hpt=hp_c3

The version A will operate at lower power, so will work well with small batteries, according to reports. It is perfect for applications not requiring wireless, dual USB, and which can run off less memory. It is very similar to the original version A of the PI, but carries later modifications for increased reliability and increased computing power (essentially a model B with less RAM, and overhead reduced by eliminating the second USB and ethernet.

The B version is the one we are discussing above and comes with two USB ports and 512 MB of RAM, as well as an ethernet port. It retails for $35.

Inquire on the CNET list - some time back, someone posted instructions on setting up asterisk on a PI. I haven't yet tried setting it up myself, though I do have one PI that is being reserved for that purpose...
