Title: Belgium Bell Telephone Kettle Phone
Post by: Doug Rose on May 29, 2017, 12:51:06 PM
I found this on eBay a few weeks ago. It is metal with Bell Telephone Decals. Made in Belgium with a cool brass handle to carry the phone. Compact design, I replaced the handset cord and it fully functional!!!

Love the decals, those and the patina-ed brass look good on black. The handle is an interesting feature, I assume it then does not have a slot in the rear of the handset cradle?

That is an RTT 56 made by BTMC. They are also made by ATEA (RTT 56 A) who are responsible for the original design.

The transfers were added by a reseller and are not original.

Thanks Jack.....I have had one for years with the same decals. I thought it was real. Were the decals made for this Kettle phone? I have never seen them on another phone and they fit perfectly....Doug

These decals were added for retail sale by refurbishers.Have seen the Same Bell decails added to the ATEA sets also.I also doubt the copper finish was origional as seen on other sets
