I only have 4 red phones, they're too pricey to buy cos people buy them and pretend they have a direct line to the leaders of whatever country they live in... :D

That said, I like green phones myself, but I will buy whatever's cheapest, so long as it appeals to me... :)

Here's the same phone minus the rhinestones for $19.

Okay, that's good information. Now we know the price of rhinestones, in this quantity, is $53.25 . . .  :o

Y'know....for $19, it's awfully tempting.

How much for the same phone minus the rhinestones AND minus the phone?

Good thing it isn't a payphone. Where would you insert the coins?  :)

Someone has just listed that on eBay ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Retro-Modern-Phone-/271365366231 ). What on Earth is that? A phone partially made of glass? Not sure if it's supposed to be used as a phone or as a saucer! Also, notice the "lamp" switch at the back, presumably it lights when you turn it on?

Reminds me of an ashtray.... ;D

this telephone is not so hideous :D but at least you can choose TONE or PULSE..I have some phones with pulsation and they take a couple secondes for dialing the number and they are more hideous than this telephone :).......Anyway a phone is a phone and this thing can save your life ;).

Here's a link about he Columbia telephone : http://www.columbiatelephone.com/index-2.html

I like pulse dialling phones, they're more fun! I don't think I have a single phone that supports tone dialling, perhaps I ought to get one in case I need to call emergency services.

I've no idea if you have a touch-tone line but I agree with you for certain things... I like pulse dialling  phones because I have 3 and they're old and I like the antique phone or simply old phones.. I use a touch-tone and a rotary on a daily basis . my touch-tone is used because I have a Voicemail...otherwise I use my old rotary for the feeling :)
