This is from Dead Horse Bay in NY.  It was used as a landfill for NYC garbage mostly in the 30s through the 50s.  Things from those years wash up constantly including signs, bottles, household items, etc.

I haven't been myself but the picture turned up during a google image search I was doing. Looks like a 302.

Wow, is that really a blue 302. That's too bad it was thrown out today it would be worth a lot. I wonder if that was the bell system that did that or a private party?

I think it's a black phone that has been beaten up.  Still some useable parts though...
