Downloading Free Movies (and all kinds of other good stuff)

I don't know how many folks here use this, but a great way to find and download free movies and other media is through a website called "scrapetorrent".

What it does is search all the major torrent sites for whatever it is you're looking for:

First download and install the Utorrent software here:

http://www.utorrent.com/

It takes a fairly fast connection speed (I'm on DSL and it works fine).

The software is simple; it pretty much just runs itself on the default settings.

Anyway, when I'm looking for movies and if they're not on Netflix instant viewing, or places like IMDB "watch it now" or Youtube, Scrapetorrent is a great place to look. Especially for old and obscure movies, but also for new movies that have been recently released.

And the best thing is that it's all free and legal.

For playing the movies, VLC Media Player is a great program:

Whilst the ScrapeTorrent software maybe legal, the torrent sites it collects from are full of illegal content.

They make excellent boat anchors also, and can be easily permanently modified into very stylish art deco table lamps.
