Staying with the gold trend for another contest, listed a little less than a day ago in a 7 day auction with no reserve starting at $39.99 ( with thanks to a heads up from Autonut and a price check with WEBellSystemChristian ) is a very nice gold WE 565HK that appears to be NOS including a gold coiled cord and a gold 25 pin line cord with the plug protector still in place. Even the base is free from the out gassing corrosion seen on phones of this age. From the external photos provided by the seller, it appears to be in very good condition with none of the usual paint dings and chips that occur with use. The seller provided photos of the phone and the instruction book that comes with the phone. So far, the phone has attracted 4 bidders placing 5 bids increasing the price to $60.00 and there are 29 watchers. It will go higher so who best knows what this item will sell for when the auction ends?

The seller listed it as an "Vintage Western Electric Bell System Multi-Button Rotary Phone Gold 565HK in Box" with the item condition as "Used" and "Excellent with Instructions" and with the auction listing description saying "Vintage Western Electric Bell System Multi-Button Rotary Phone Gold 565HK in Box -- Here we have a fantastic old Multi-Button desk top, rotary telephone in a rare gold color. Looks like it was hardly if ever used. It is from Western Electric, Bell System, model number 565HK. It is in excellent, clean condition and comes with original box and instructions. It has 5 push-button lines and a hold button. The box shows some shelf wear along with some writing."
