Thanks Doug;
Here's another that was done with a TEENY bit of black pigment in snow-white resin. You guys have never seen these examples because they were "one-offs", and weren't around long.

Very beautiful looks like it is made of marble!

original vintage transparent telephone as pictured. I believe that these have since been remade, but this is an original phone from 1985.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These have been remade using original molds With clear plastic. I the guts of these are original guts.
This particular phone may have the repro-plastics. I think the original plastics were clearer but I am not sure.
>Edit to add<
The remade sets have a newer transmitter than the originals. I think 1 of the transmitters are gray and the other one red. I don't recall which is the newer type.

These come up for sale regularly in the UK. £175 is expensive. Prices in the region of £75 (or less) are more usual.

I picked up one of these a couple of years ago for about £7. The chap selling had a 'best offer' option on it and I suspect had not set it up properly as I offered the opening price and got an immediate acceptance (either that or he had no idea what he was selling).
It's a nice thing, but as @FABphones said they are not very rare as they were remade in reasonable numbers.

Here is a book view of the 1939 Bell System world's fair exhibit. I searched for "voice mirror" exhibit.
The Voice Mirror exhibit was where the clear 302's were used. There are quite a few photos of the clear sets and clear mother-in-law receivers.

Thanks Jim for this post.  Awesome pictures.

I posted a few of the clear 302's.

Thanks Duffy,
Photo 4 (clear 302) has the clear mother-in-law receiver in the foreground.

The voice mirror display was designed to playback your voice . Pretty much like hearing yourself on tape for the first time.
Cool stuff,
Jim
Note to others, Duffy only posted some of the photos.

Sold for $210.09.
It went cheap, all things considered.

Currently I don't have a phone cash stash, or I would of sniped higher than the winning bid.
I guess I should build up the phone cash stash again. If only there was a market for old  telephones.......

That might be cheap, but when you bid from Canada it gets real expensive real quick. Exchange on the dollar, Taxes and duty and the eBay Global shipping!  >:(
