SC 1250 Wall phone

watched this auction from day one. All the time hoping it would fly under the radar and I could drop in the last 15 seconds and purchase it for the $39.95 + shipping min. bid. That's just what I did.

I like to collect a wide variety of phones from across the last century. I didn't have a wall phone like this SC so it would fill a hole in my collection. It lived it's life in a school, so I figured unless it was in the "boy's room" it wouldn't have a cigerette smell.

Despite the paint spots, it was able to shine through it all. I knew it would shine up nicely.

I was not disappointed! It has a glowing shine after I did a clean and shine! Everything about it works. It displays beautifully.

I did a diligent search of TCI documents and found nothing to tell me the production years of the 1250. I'm assumeing 40's.

I feel I got good value for the $$ spent...

Thanks Doug. I have wanted one for a long time. Most needed a lot of attention and/or cost too much. This one worked out just right. It was meant to be, i guess.
