New forum members are very welcome and encouraged to take a guess. After all, there are no wrong guesses, just one lucky one. No one knows the winning bid on any auction until it ends. However, it is important to get your guess in before someone else grabs your guess.

Just listed in a 10 day auction with no reserve and starting at $19.90 is what appears to be a very nice WE candlestick with a bulldog transmitter, a Number 2 dial and cloth cords. From the listing images, it also appears to have a notch-less number plate. The seller has posted good images but no inside shots. The phone has one bid but I am sure there are many more to come. The only question is how many and how fast the price will rise. But once again, how high is the big question. So, who best knows what this candlestick will sell for when the auction ends?

NOTE: we will use a $5 gap rule between guesses again to prevent crowding. As such, keep your guess at least $5 away from prior guesses for this contest.

The seller listed it as an "Vintage Antique Candlestick Phone Bell System AT&T American Bell Telephone WECO", the item condition as "used" and " - - - " and with the auction listing description saying simply "A vintage American bell telephone company rotary candlestick phone in very good condition. The back of the cup reads property bell telephone company. It has all patent dates in front of dial and all cords in great condition. Overall phone in my opinion all original and great condition for its age."

Well, half way through the auction it's moved up to $81 $118 but by way of 19 32 bids from now 8 9 bidders. Lot of interest in this phone with 8 9 bidders so snipe time should be fun to watch   - - - - >   to see who wants this stick the most.

HarrySmith

Sine it looks like a lot of interested parties, I think the snipes will be fast & furious, all the way to $650.00
