I have red '76 SC 500 in need of a line cord but the problem is I don't know where to find one. I've looked at some of the different vendors and haven't seen any listed. The network is a printed circuit board and the wires for the line cord have the "u" shaped connectors but instead of being screwed down the connecters are plugged into a female connector, if that makes any sense. I wish I had a picture of what I'm talking about but I know some of you here also have late model SC's with the same setup.

foots,

Those pc board connectors were introduced in the 1970s to replace screws (cheaper and quicker), but the same spade connectors which used to be held by screws will slide into them.  Any WE-type handset cord with spade connectors should be fine for the phone.

Thanks Larry in Michigan. That means I should be able to get a red line cord which will be a big plus.
