I put the 11-55 together yesterday and one of the plungers are higher than the other and it holds up the handsetand it looks bad. Do any of you know how to fix it

Kenny, is this on the black cover I sent you?

Make sure the bracket that is attached to the hook switch...with the spring is not bent.  If one side is bent up higher than the other it could cause one side to be higher than the other.  But the plungers can only go so high.

By the way, Kenny........Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Kenny.

I only had 1 phone when I turned 14. It was a green 500 set. I got a 302 while I was 14.

Kenny;
happy birthday.
One other possibility, I've had plungers slip out from behind the retainer on the shell of the 500, maybe that is what happened.

           Happy Birthday and if Dennis and D/P's advice didn't fix it ,open that bad boy up and take a picture and post it so we might can see what is holding the plunger up.....  stub
