Post by: Babybearjs on August 14, 2015, 10:50:46 PM
I won a very illusive W.E. 357 on ebay.... I've never been able to find one, and then I got lucky... its a 357A and I'll post pictures once I get it. this is a first for me.... has anyone else ever seen a 357 on Ebay before??

You basically found a 354 with a 'lift plunger to dial or talk' feature? How does that work on a 354, with a switchhook instead of plungers? Am I missing something?

Can you post the auction picture?

A 357 is the wall-mounted version of a 307, which is a local-battery talking common-battery signaling set.

Was it the auction with the very blurry pictures?  Good buy.

I converted it over to a 357C by adding a dial. now, its a fully usable phone.
