My fiance and I were in an antique shop in Clare Michigan,  we saw a nice priced 500 set,  I flipped it to look at the date.  6-66 needless to say we did not buy it for obvious reasons.

Unless the price was too high, I don't see why not.
It's not satanic or anything..

I saw a black WE 500 on ebay last week with the same date.

I think the obvious reason is exactly why I would have bought it!
;D

I'd also have bought it for the sheer novelty of it being "The devil's phone"...  ;D

I have had my work cell phone for 18-1/2 years.
The last 3 digits are 666.

Some people say the number of the beast is 616
That was my radio call sign before the widespread use of cell phones..

My National Insurance number (equiv. to US' Social Security I think) has 66-6x in the string of letters & numbers, so it's a set of numbers I can't escape...  ;D

I had to google that 666 deal, it isn't well-known here in Germany. I would have taken it :-)
