With a 600 ohms ringer as I believe you have the REN is about 1.5.  Should be no problem.  As many other German phones this one has no anti tinkle at all.  When or if something of this becomes a problem we may solve it.

This discussion prompted me to take out my ivory W49 and give it a try.  After cleaning some dirty switch contacts and removing the transmitter shunting resistor that I installed years ago to reduce the crackling from too much current going through the transmitter, the phone actually worked well on my Ooma system.  I will probably keep it on my desk as my working phone for a little while.
