well, my roommate did it... bought himself a 5 selection coke machine. paid $200.00 as-is and guess what I've been doing.... rewiring the selector harness.... what a mess. only 2 of the 5 buttons worked and I had to tear apart the whole thing practically to put it back together. broken spade terminals, stripped screws and 30 years of gunk! had to steam clean the can racking... inspect all the wiring andstill have to repair 2 of the selector units... the solenoid assembly os broken. Thank god, the refridgoration system works OK thats one area thats costly! has anyone on this forum played with these machines at all? any help would be appreciated. the maker is "Vendo" and the unit is from the 70s or 80's... the same type the gas stations used to have... the seller actually had extra electrical parts, so that is covered. boy! this is fun!!
