Hi all,

I hope I've just got an unmodified Belgian RTT-56A (eBay ref 312121015663).
Usually these have been stripped and repainted and had decals added.
This one looks like it's still original - especially as the handle is still painted.
Wish me luck as I've been after one of these, in untouched form, for ages.

I think the set was made by ATEA  (Belgium AE) but the handset might be BTM  ( Bell Telephone Mfg Co)

Thanks - I've seen, I think, three different types of handset with these so it's hard to tell.
Matilo's page on these does show an ATEA catalogue picture with that handset - link

The phone has arrived today and I'm very happy with it.
All parts dated 1965 and very original looking.
Works nicely too.
;D

Thanks Doug - it is in great shape.
The best bit for me is that it's an original one before they were 'upgraded' by adding transfers and striping and polishing brass parts.

Very nice.
I like the small foot print :)

RB,
Yes, these are a clever design with components on both sides of the internal chassis plate.
Makes them nice and compact on your desk.
