I see that a lot in the UK. One of reasons is move house, phone goes with them, number changes, cross it out.

I guess no one ever thought they would be sought after.  :(

That's bad, man!  :-\
Well, if you are good at photo editing programs you can always restore it and then print a new one.

If you want, I can give it a shot at that if you make a scan of it.  ;)

If you want to go old school, you can paint over it with a white correction fluid.

If you want to go old school, you can paint over it with a white correction fluid.

There is also a correction fluid pen, so you write over the area you want to blank out. It is quite a precise way of removing a written error so you should be able to 'blank over' the ink (avoid the numbers) and retain the numbering on this original card. But the white correction fluid will show as such.

Just another idea.  :)

Here's my try, such as it is. I don't have PhotoShop any more, so I used Paint to cover over the old number and then typed in a new one. I don't have a font that looks exactly like a rubber stamp. But I do have the stamps and could create something and re-scan it if you like. I'm sure some could improve on it and I won't be offended at all.

I've fixed several cards of my own that were either rust stained or peeled off or marked through. It's a lot of fun bringing those back.

Here's my attempt.

EDIT: For fun, I also made another dial card with the colors of your original post picture.
