I probably should have bid more on this from the same seller.

Greg,
I saw the long pole also, and thought that it probably went with the number 10.  I did not bid because it looked incomplete and did not have a cap.  Plus I was already gambling on the number 10.

I just looked at an auction for a long receiver for 120 opening bid. But it only had 6 minutes left.

If the long pole was a Bell Telephone receiver, that price was a bargain, even missing the parts.

Apparently the seller I purchased the WE No 10 from has vanished.  I purchased two other phones from his ebay listings. Several others made purchases that have gone unfulfilled.  No communication for 8 days, so I started ebay cases on the two items I won.  Within 24 hours, I had a full refund on both items.

I did want the two other phones I had purchased, because they were on the cheap, but at least I got refunded.  Glad he at least shipped the Number 10.

This seller's feedback rating is plummeting rapidly.  No additional items have been posted under this seller, nor have the items I won been relisted under another name.  Strange.   I actually even checked the obituaries in the community his return address listed to see if he was deceased.
