I found this test set, built from mixed parts. "Grandpa was a service tech at the Post" was what the seller knew  ;)
The handset is from a model 33 field phone with a (wrong) W28 mouthpiece. Interesting part is the dial. I have seen these on early 1920ies Fuld phones (Fuld, later TN, provider of private phone systems). It reminds a bit of contemporary Ericsson designs. This one is stamped (19)34, which may be a refurbishment date? The dial is in excellent condition and dials out on my VOIP equipment trouble free without any cleaning and oiling. Well done grandpa!

This is what I would (almost) call an "All-in-one" phone and looks nice!
