Does anyone have an original "Battleship" game peg to compare it to, or has that possibility already been dis-proven? Just curious.

Pretty sure it's not an exclusion switch.  From what I saw in the diagram of the pdf file I linked to, phones equipped as such were physically different internally, this one isn't. 

I'm looking for a teeny-tiny lamp shade to put on it....
