Base plates for a WE candlestick and a B1, 102 base

Can anyone tell me if a WE candlestick base plate will fit a B1, 102 base? I'm sure the holes won't line up, but are the steel base plates identical?  also, while I'm asking questions, what is the difference between a Post and a Poll?Thanks in advance for any help on these questions. Frank

Frank...it will not fit.  B1 base plates are like gold....good luck...Doug
