more interesting finds on ebay: one north electric H7 phone, came with a SC horsehoof rec., WE H5 dial and the original ringer was missing. someone had riveted a H1a (right?) ringer in it and the cording was ruined. work in progress.... also got a early AE40 with a military feild phone ringer in it that was defective... and the ringer was brand new! I even had to solder new wires on it, someone has just stripped the wires and twisted then through the contact tabs. the phone came with black felt glued to the bottom and was really a mess.... anther work in progress. interesting what one finds on ebay!

Okay, time to vote. Only three nominations this month. I guess the supply of GREAT OLD TELEPHONE'S is finally beginning to dry up....

Okay the July 2011 Find of the Month is in the history books now. 22 votes this time, not bad.

In the end John S pulled into first place and never looked back. At one point in the voting we had a 3 way tie.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your finds AND thanks for taking the time to vote. As always, the check is in the mail to the winner.....don't spend it all at one antique phone store though, spread the wealth around.
