I have a 4-track player for cars, that I plan on installing in my Chrysler.  It is for 6 volt positive ground, which is what Chrysler products were when mine was made.

You might need to relpace the pads. You might want to start and stop the cart quickly and check for binding. If you can get it to rotate theough the program it might be ok. The newer itc broadcast carts are almost always bad but the old fidelapak carts which were used for 4 tracks survive better than new ones . Check your pinchroller to make sure it is not damaged or sticky.
