Barber Shops, Old Phones & Stuff

Now that's an incredible run with one barber Dennis!  I not only went with dad a lot to the shop, though I only got cuts every so often, but I also went with mom every Friday to the beauty shop as a kid in the summers to see her get her weekly style.  My folks were big on personal grooming, they spent a good deal of money on hair.  The atmosphere at each place was similar, lots of regulars and lots of conversation, but about different things!  The girls working at the beauty shop always wanted to mess with my hair as it was long and wavy, and of course if it was between having dads old barber man or a pretty young 25 year old gal cut my hair it was a simple choice.     Sometimes I got free shampoos and styles as they would use my hair for practice, being 12 years old and having three young women fussing about over me at the shop was certainly more fun than most of my other summer diversions! 

Do you only cut your hair once a year now Dennis?

Good story, Heath.  Being the guinea pig has it's advantages sometimes.

Once a year?  No.  I'm about every 3-4 weeks.  Closer to 3.
