A member recently posted to the other phone lists about a man in California looking to liquidate an extnsive library of phone related books due to health concerns and a move. It sounds like a vast collection and would be a shame to lose thid informstion. I do not have space to store anything like this or I would try to save it.  I know we have a few members in CA and nearby that are not on the other lists so I thought I would repost it here:

TCI & ATCA open list serve members,

I just had a telephone conversation with Stan Swihart who lives in Dublin,
California. Stan is a TCI Member, telephone historian and author of the very
excellent and extensive recently released 2-volume 600 page book on Dials
and Pushbuttons.

Stan has an extensive library consisting of several hundred volumes of old
books relating to telephones and telephone history which he needs to dispose
of because he has relocated from his spacious home of many years to a small
apartment and has no space for them. Stan's wife is now in a nursing home.

Stan does not have a list of these books, and is in no condition to prepare
one, but if you are looking for a specific old telephone-related book,
please contact him and he will let you know if he has it and he will
negotiate an extremely reasonable price. He will get them shipped with the
purchaser paying for the shipping. If you are within driving distance you
might be able to arrange to visit Stan and see with your own eyes what he
has, pick out what you want and take it home with you.

Or if you know of a telephone museum or organization that would be willing
to pay for the shipping cost, please put them in touch with Stan.

He offered everything to me if I would pay for the shipping, but I likewise
have no space and I am also going though difficult health problems with my
wife and facing the imminent downsizing that Stan is currently going through
so have had to decline his most generous offer.

What nobody wants he will have to dispose of by throwing them away because
physically speaking he is just not able to do anything else. It will be a
terrible tragedy to have this valuable and rare information lost forever.
So if there is anything you want Stan might just have it. This may be your
last opportunity to obtain a book you never hoped to find.

Stan can be reached at the email address shown above, or by telephone at
925-829-2728.

Please don't tarry. Time is of the essence.

I could be blind but I am not finding the email address that Roger (original post is from Roger Conklin to the the TCI & ATCA listserves) mentions. It wasn't in the TCI listserve post either.

I usually use the ebaY handles list to find email addresses but I don't have Stan's address there either. Maybe someone has Stan's email address?

Terry, If you look at Roger's posting on the TCI Listserv, look at who he sent it to. He also sent it to Stan.
That is where you will find his address.

Okay, I think I found the problem. I only get the digest version of the TCI list and that info gets stripped off. The top of the digest email shows this:
From:  singingwires@yahoogroups.com
To:  singingwires@yahoogroups.com
Reply-to:  No Reply <notify-dg-singingwires@yahoogroups.com>
Subject:  [TCI] Digest Number 6662

And further down the digest where Rogers posting is looks like this:
