I'm a sucker for anything marked with a drawing number. $25.00 BIN with $9.95 shipping. Also marked 1962 and with what may be remnants of the rebuilders snowflake. Can't wait to open it up!

Anyone have any details on what this might be?

D-2993 with suffix indicates that it was a  251, with Stromberg-Carlson 50~ ringer made to fit WE 251.
2 different rebuilders. 1st one marked it "5251" and the date "1962."
2nd one (snowflake): Hallmark House, Springfield, MA.

Thanks for the info! Looks like the rebuilders replaced the Stromberg-Carlson 50~ with a B3A dated 3/48. The rest of the dates range from 1945 thru 1959. Cleaned up nicely and works fine. Pics attached.

This one definitely goes on my 'oddball' shelf.
