A sad but interesting project/parts toaster, maybe, with "Lots of Character?" Looks like a TP-6-A but no stamped military spec panel on the back of the shell. And, from the photo, a WE style dial.

But, with its creative writing, the description gave me a broad smile, especially "would be PERFECT for display," "not visible when resting on base" and "See pictures for finer details." YGTBKM . . .  :-\

The full description:  "VINTAGE 1940'S ROTARY TELEPHONE - Metal base with bakelite handset. Rotary turns, but only returns to original position after going to '0'. Piece missing from underside of handset, but is not visible when resting on base. Cord has been spliced. Lots of dings, scratches and wear. This would be PERFECT for display. See pictures for finer details . . .  and message me with any questions. SOLD AS IS - NOT TESTED."

Take it home for $21.09 . . .

I might pay $5 for it at a flea market, but otherwise, it's not worth the shipping.  These phones are not rare.
