That's a beautiful radio!  Make sure to replace the paper and electrolytic capacitors before playing it.

That seems like an awful lot of work.  I would be willing to take that troublesome radio off your hands ;)

I really like the paint on that radio.

Bones,

Mine isn't a radio, it's an intercom. But you could use it at home to have your wife bring you your coffee.  ;D

Thanks, Doug!

Works for me, I am creeping ever closer to retirement; so that has a certain appeal!

At any rate, thanks, truly, for sharing pictures of your toys with us, as well as info. Take more, share more.

We wants pictures!!!

That's really what this forum is all about, as well as developing some great friends. I'm quite sure you've got that down, already... you been doing fine.

Best regards!

Is the textured surface the plastic itself or the paints' effect?  I've not seen a surface like that on a thermoset cabinet.

When I first saw a Baby Champ with that finish I thought it was repainted. But research showed it was original. I believe there's at least one other color (other then black). The finish is flat and the effect seen is from the paint/finish.
