SC1197 I Fixed up...

Dear Forum:

I've recently fixed up a SC1197 deskstand set and got it working with a WE 581A subset.

The only thing I haven't fixed on it is the felt basepad as I'm not experienced with that part.

I did fix a chip out on the receiver end of the handset where the cap and the handset meet with cold weld, and touchup with a black paint pen. I wiped the area with a cloth so the fix would blend in nicely.

Comment and feedback are welcome, I've got the SC1197 posted in the Classified Trade section as well.

I haven't dealt with stand alone deskstand sets much, so this one is a pride and joy item to me.

I'm hoping by trading it it will go to a good home, and maybe I can get a nice set in return.

I'm hoping for either an AE40 or SC Fatboy in trade.
