Oh, yes! If you join AARP, you WILL get junk mail! I jopined at 52 or so, then let it lapse just so I wouldn't get the junk mail. I plan to rejoin at Medicare time - I understand that some of the plans they shill for (ah, that is, sponsor) are pretty good.
