There are some photos showing the missing external parts in:

100 Years of Bell Telephones, Mountjoy, p. 130
Telephones: Antique to Modern, Dooner, p. 57
The Telephone Connection, Dommers, p. 50

It's also worth checking early WE catalogs and Ron Knappen's compendium.

Do any of these have a better ID or name for this phone?

No.  And Ron's scrapbook has a smaller version of the photo in the Dommers book, with no additional info.

We need to find other sources.

Dunno what it is, how it works or how it's used, but, I'll bid $1500, hoping that's at least 5% of breathing space between wds and Mr. Bones' bids cos my maths are useless beyond additions and subtractions... :D

That's 20% breathing room twocv....breath easy!

I just modified the title of this topic per Harry's added info. As this isn't the candlestick version it may not be a model 30A though.

It is just approaching the 24 hours to go point and is sitting at $180.27 with 8 bids so far. I suspect it isn't over yet!

Yes, Terry, it's no where near over. What I find interesting is that while there are only 8 bids as of this post, there are also 8 bidders and those bidders prior purchases range from 350 to over 2,000 items. No first timers in the group. Should be interesting.

TelePlay nailed it. It sold for $910 and TelePlay's guess was only off by $15 at $925. Nice going TelePlay!

I don't know who won the item though. w***e  534. Just coincidence that his bid code is WE ...I guess??

Thanks Terry!

Just goes to prove that even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in a while.

And, will you be using direct deposit again for my winnings?   ;D

If you know something he bid on, you can wait a few days, then check the feedback left by the seller to get the complete bidder name.

Got it, thanks Terry, much faster than the last time I won and it was a very pleasant surprise to see it's increased by a health percentage.  ::)
