Ok folks, here was another just finished up.  A total mess,  but the BK1045 and time, this is what I came up with.  And a quick peek at others.

What is the difference between the louvered and the vent holes in the 21's???  Is ther a historical distinction or devalue the phone.

               The louvers can be seen in the 1929 catalog (Bulletin No. 1015) and the holes came later. The first cover with holes ,that I can tell, came in 1934  ( AE Catalog 4055) on the AE Type 32A14 Handset Wall phone. As far as reading written info I haven't, just from looking at pics in catalogs.

I was asked yesterday If my three AE50's worked on a telco line.....after testing with the bk1045,

AAAAHHHHHH YES THEY DO, ALL 3 MADE AND RECEIVED CALLS TODAY!!!!

OUTSATANDING !!!!!

Never had a phone that works on my BK 1045 not work on the line...
