I got a find of the month...uh, year recently/
I found a GTE AE Fortress 120B for $25!!!
It is complete cept missing vault door, and coin box.
Oh, and a lock or two...
I would like to hook it up and maybe make a call or two.
I know, it takes an ACTS device or something like that.
I can work around most things, so any info would help.
Or has anyone made a black box to make these things work?
Also, how much is this thing worth?
Regards

RB

THANK YOU DSK!!!!!!!!!

Just remember that mine is made for 230V European power system so the 125V US system may need slightly different values on the components.  The last schematics should be OK.  The resistor R4 should be as high as possible but not lager than it will work stable but not burning the coil in the phone (1k has been OK for my setup with a approx 115V from the center tapped transformer.  The best would be if you could get out something close to 80 V from the transformer, but use what ever you have, and adjust the values used on the resistors and capacitors.(That's why my prototyp is as it is :-X   ))  The changes of standards from 110-125V  or 220-230 etc makes things a little more "powerful"  :D in all countries.
