I have a Galion I have been restoring.
I messed up the dial, and need to send it to Steve.
In the mean time, I have installed a temp dial so I can use this beauty.
First, the original...
An AE 845F dial. besides the pulse contacts, it has 2 additional switches. "4 blades"
I believe, either to short out the Rec during dialing, or to add it to the rest of the circuit???
Next, the replacement...
An AE PB2 60-c.
Same dial, missing the last blade in the stack. "3 blades" progressive.
So, I wired it in anyway, and it works!!!
Only issue, is the clicks while dialing. not too bad.
Question...
What is the wiring difference in the wiring, when the last blade is not used???
DSK, care to chime in here?
Your wisdom always sheds light on this type of thing. :)

Those codes don't identify the dial, at least to me.

Can you post the catalogue code or a picture?
