Finally found myself the correct handset for a phone that I have had for years.

It is a Tefag (German maker) so called Berliner telephone. It was made in the 30s. Although it was made in Germany, it was (as far as I know) only supplied to Holland.

The multi-line version is very rare. This is the normal deskphone and that is even more rare.

Now it is complete. So I can restore it to its former glory. Can't wait to start. Hope to start work on it this year.

The handset was on a door intercom. Never seen this model before. The handset has a crack, but I think I can repair it well enough to be almost invisible.

Congrats! Another one scratched off the list. Can't wait to see it restored. You will keep us posted during the repairs, correct?

Yes I will. This phone has a large chip of bakelite missing and I know a method of repairing it I haven't seen discribed here, so I'd like to show how that goes.

Are you planning on filling in the crack, or trying to position it back in place ?

I'm afraid I cannot do that. A shard is missing. So I have to fill it.

I'll show how I do that with pictures in a couple of weeks.
