This popped up on ebay UK, its in the US however.

As old as that set is, they do seem to pop up rather frequently.  You could take some Brasso to it, and have a very pretty item.  I'm not sure it's supposed to be bent at the transmitter the way it is, though.  Anybody know for sure?

I believe the 1001 is not normally bent like that. 

I have a couple; one of which I got at an estate sale last week-end for $2.00, but they usually go for probably $30 to $50.  I think there were lots of them around.  When I get home I'll check to see.  The bend in that picture does not look like it was part of the design!

very cool piece..definitely damaged... i would pay maybe $30 for a nice set...but i am cheap ;)
