Merry Christmas and a Happy 2013 from the Netherlands.

The picture shows a train of the Pike's Peak Cog Railway - The world's highest cog railroad, the highest Colorado railroad AND highest train in the United States at 14.110 ft - 4300 m above sea level. The Manitou and Pike's Peak Railway is an Abt rack system cog railway in Colorado, USA, climbing the well-known mountain Pikes Peak. The base station is in Manitou Springs, Colorado near Colorado Springs. It was one of the highlights of my last trip to the US together with my dad.

While we were near Colorado Springs we also had the pleasure to visit Jim S. and admired his collection of transparent phones.

It Was Great to finally meet Remco,  we go way back to the early days of the atca listserve.
My disappointment was that much of my collection was packed up due to moving, (same zip better location).

It felt great to finally shake the hand of a long time friend.

Hey all: Merry Christmas from the UK. Enjoy the Snow guys, all we've got over here is torrential rain & flooding.
Excellent pictures by the way.

My best wishes for a Merry Christmas, to all of my friends on the forum.

May we all be blessed with a successful and prosperous New Year in 2013.

I'm going to bed now; we'll see what phones Santa has left in the morning ;-)

A Merry Christmas morning to all. I don't see anything which rings, but I do see all sorts of toys for the  cats; enough to bring them days of enjoyment. Now that my son is grown up and living away, it is a pleasure watching them at opening time. It isn't a matter of receiving, now, I find it more fun giving, and they are the natural recipients!

My son and his lady visited last night for Christmas Eve Supper, and I gave him a couple of little presents for his Raspberry PI - more to come when they come down next!

So, I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas day - the best thing about Christmas are families getting together and smiles on the children's faces, and don't forget about those wonderful Christmas dinners that put on pounds just by simply smelling them cook! Antacids are needed even before they are served ::)

Cold today (-7 c currently), but no snow to speak of. We lucked out and missed the last snow, being on the warm side of the storm. So not a completely green Christmas, but leaving great Christmas driving!

Merry Christmas to everyone from southeast Michigan.  We got our first accumulation of snow on Christmas eve.  It's not a lot but the ground is covered...perhaps a half an inch or so.  It really makes it feel like Christmas.

I hope whatever you're doing, wherever you go you all have a great day and you're able to spend time with family and/or friends.  Hopefully Santa brought you that special phone or phone part that you've been wanting.

Have a happy, healthy and safe 2013!

Hi All:

Who'd have thunk it - December again!  :)

I want to wish one and all a very merry Christmas from Dave, Linda, cats; Smokey, Amber and Bobbi, and the telephone museum of PEI!

Christmas is for pets, too! Bobbi helps decorate and take down the tree, too!

No snow here yet. Nevertheless I might make a contribution too, later this week. I already had a rummage around upstairs to collect some material for a picture.
