302 Yellow ink stamp on shell

I recently posted about having a 302 with a stuck shell, and once I removed it, I noticed a yellow date on the shell. The whole phone is 11-47, but I was just curious if anyone knew why the housing was stamped yellow?

Does it mean anything? or is it so meaningless that nobody wants to say it to me?
